AIX Systems Engineer

Description:
AIX System Administrator (sysadmin) position, duties include:
- Perform monthly and on demand System Security Scanning, using products Nessus, Retina, and ISS Scanner. This included remediation of the security concerns, and updating of patch levels when appropriate.
- Installation and system configuration of database management software (IBM DB2), Web enabling software (IBM WebSphere), Business Objects, Cognos, ESRI, TomCat, and Apache applications.
- Lead System Administrator for several key Health Care Programs.
- Responsible for ensuring stability of the host servers, networking interfaces, performance, and user and application access to the system.
Requirements:
Requires lots of shell scripting (mostly Korn shell). Real, hard-core AIX experience necessary -- passing familiarity will not do.
Experience with the following: PSSP, CMS, HACMP, Shell scripting is mostly in Korn shell. At least two years experience required.
Must be able to obtain a positive ADPII background check, US citizenship is required.
